Welcome:
Welcome to the Bridlemile neighborhood in Portland, Oregon!

Purpose:
The Bridlemile Neighborhood Association (BNA) is an all-volunteer organization run by Bridlemile neighbors for neighbors.

The purposes for which the BNA is organized includes:

·      Considering and acting on issues that affect Bridlemile’s livability and quality of life

·      Provide a way for members to involve themselves in neighborhood affairs

·      To take positions in matters of civic interest

·      To inform residents of events or plans affecting the neighborhood

·      The establish and maintain open lines of communication with other organizations, such as district coalitions, other neighborhood associations and city, county and state agencies

Anyone who lives, works or owns a business in Bridlemile is welcome to join the association. There are no fees of any kind.

Boundaries:

The Bridlemile neighborhood, roughly speaking, reaches from Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway (B-H Hwy) on the south to Patton Road on the north, and from Dosch Road on the east to Scholls Ferry Road on the west. The area along B-H Hwy is a mix of commercial and (primarily) multi-family housing. From there, north to Patton is mostly single-family homes.

What We Do:
At meetings, BNA members discuss neighborhood issues and decide how to act. Do you have interests you’d like to engage on? We’d love to hear from you and see you at a meeting to learn more about how the BNA can help you make the difference you want to see.

What Can You Do:
Being on the board is a way to serve in our community. You can work on a project, event or a committee. You can even start your own committee. Examples include land use, parks, schools, or a welcoming one for new Bridlemile residents.
